About

I am a PhD student in the Quantum Photonics Laboratory (QPL) group at the University of Waterloo and the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) under the supervision of Prof. Thomas Jennewein and co-supervised by Prof. Michael Reimer of the Quantum Photonic Devices (QPD) Laboratory group.

I pursued my MSc at the University of Ottawa in the quantum photonics group of Prof. Jeff Lundeen. During my MSc, I worked on two projects. In the first project, we experimentally demonstrated the shadow of a beam of light. This work was published in Optica link. In the second project, we pursued the implementation of geometric phase based logic gates in waveguide systems. My master’s thesis was recommended for a thesis prize.

Outside of physics, I enjoy playing video games and curling in the winter.
