During the course of my BSc, I had the pleasure of completing two four month terms at the following insitututions.

Worked in Dan Dalacu’s and Robin Williams' groups at the National Research Council (NRC) in Ottawa. Measured temperature dependence of silicon nitride ring resonators from cryogenic to room temperature as proof of concept for a future experiment in their group. Created graphical user interfaces and other scripts in python to control experimental devices.

Tested experimental photonic circuit and showed it did not work according to theory. Reworked and tested new theory through simulations.
